After building the site by myself for over 16 years now (man, has bit been that long …) I'm finally making the move over to WordPress. Once mainly a blogg-tool, WordPress has definitely matured and I would say today is a competent CMS-tool also.
I've been working with the Builder iThemes framework and I got to say it is really nice from a designer and developer point of view. It is easy to "build" the layout of the site and they got a bunch of great plugins (I love Backupbuddy and Loopbudy) that really helps improve the site.
