Func KB-460 now available with Cherry MX Blue or Brown switches

When we tested the Func KB-460 keyboard a while ago we found it to be a very nice and affordable keyboard. The original uses Cherry MX Red switches but Func has now also released two new versions that can be had with both Cherry MX Blue or Brown mechanical switches giving the user a choice to get a Func KB-460 regardless which type of switch he/she prefers. “We design our products for our customers, with functionality as our focus”says Calle Conradsson, Brand Manager for Func.  “When it comes to mechanical switch types, the decision can be very subjective, largely relying on a user’s personal preferences.  The choice to offer additional Cherry MX mechanical switches was a direct result of customer feedback.” Head over to this page to find out where you can buy the keyboard. OCZ Launches RevoDrive 350

OCZ_RevoDrive350-1-HR

OCZ has launched the latest SSD, the RevoDrive 350 Series, utilizing the PCI Express interface. Current SATA SSDs are saturating the SATA interface’s 6 Gbps bandwidth so the faster PCIE interface is needed in order to achieve higher performance. According to OCZ, the RevoDrive 350 can deliver three times the performance of SATA SSD. Utilizing PCI Express Gen 2 x8 interface, the card takes up to four LSI SF-2282 processor and uses 19nm in-house Toshiba NAND (kind of expected as OCZ is part of Toshiba now). It has a rated sequential read up to 1.8GB/s and up to 140,000 4K random write IOPS. Noctua Launches NH-D15

noctua_nh_d15_3

As far as air cooler goes, you probably cannot find one that is as big and performs as well as the Noctua NH-D14. If you want the best air cooler for overclocking, that would be the one we recommend. Well, soon you may be able to pick its successor, the NH-D15. Compare to the NH-D14, the NH-D15 still retains the same dual vertical heatsinks design with capability of supporting up to three fans. With the new heatsink, the fin stack has been widened to 150mm (hence the name D15) to allow more uniform heat distribution. The new heatsink will also be equipped with the NF-A15 fan with PWM support and the ability to adjust maximum RPM from 1500 to 1200 with the included low-noise adapter. The cooler will continue to use Noctua SecuFirm2 multi-socket mounting system so you can use it with a wide variety of boards from Intel and AMD. ... Read More »
