First off, you can only use two instances of the console client, NOT the graphical client (it will corrupt the wu). Second, you have to assign each core an id in the config of the console client. The two console clients need to have their own directory. For instance CPU1 and CPU2. If you do all that it should work OK.

i havnt done this: assign each core an id in the config of the console client. The two console clients need to have their own directory. For instance CPU1 and CPU2. If you do all that it should work OK.

Console is ran through "Dos" or whatever XP uses for "Dos".
GUI/graphical version shows molecules when running.
I like the console verison more as do others I would bet.
For dualcore operation put the console client each in a seperate folder and thats all you need to do like GIBSON mentioned.
If you want to know if both cores are being used just look at the task manager.

it's msdos ;) :p
anyhow, back on topic: Don't continue working like you are now. You are risking to fuxor up all your comp's hard work. Just put the id's in the config and make the dir's.

First download teh console client. Create two Folding folders (as other has said, CPU1 and CPU2 is a good name) and copy the exe you downlaoded to each folder. Start up the first client in CPU1. Answer all the questions and say yes to change the advanced settings. There you can choose a machine ID for this client. After that is done, go to the other folder and start the client there. Do the same assigning the id2 to this client. Now everything is set.

Service means is runs in the back ground and you won't see it. If you have it setup right both cores should be running at 100%.
Open the task manager and take a look and you should have something like "FahCore_**.exe" running.
