Hi everyone
Just signed up to this forum, and have a quick question.

The PSU that i'm using is a Qtec 650W triple fan PSU
i know what your gonna say (NEVER BUY QTEC) hehe
but basically all i want to know is, is this PSU powerful enough to power this system for about 2 weeks, till i can get money for a TAGEN,
I have a 400W NorthQ in here atm, which is pretty crap, and freezes my pc with an nvidia geforce 6200 sometimes.

So when i plug in my Geforce 7900GT Extreme , will the Qtec be ok to power everything?

All comments appreciated thanks

System specs= AMD Athlon X2 4600+/ 2 gig corsair ram/ 256mb geforce 7900 GT Extreme 520gpu-1500mhz/1 HD/ 2dvd drives/1 cathode/ 2 led fans

Think of a PSU the heart of a computer, if you use a POS PSU your computer would have a heart attack and die

And you wouldn't want to be giving it shocks to "revive it"

The power supply you have is probably really about 450watt not 650watt like they claim. It should hold you over until you can get a better power supply. That is if you are planning for only a couple of weeks.

Yep, that new PSU you're looking at should be fine...
But like everyone else has said, you get what you pay for... that QTEC PSU should be changed out asap ;)

lol, werty... how sad but true. Tagans are good stuff and like the others have said, yes, that should be fine. And for two weeks you should be alright with the crappy one... hopefully ;P
