Hi guys!
As most of you already know, I've just won the XFX 7900GT SLI set in the recent contest.
Since I'm afraid that my current OCZ ModStream 520W (with single +12V rail, 28A) won't be enough, I'm thinking about buying a new PSU.
Since I don't want to spend too much money, I was thinking about the new Spire SP-600W - RockeTeer VI PSU, with Dual +12V rails, 20A each?
I would like to hear what you think about this PSU and if any of you owns and/or has good experience with this one? :???:
Thanks in advance,
zachig. :paw:

Overal power is better than your Modstream since it has a dual 12V rail with 20A on each rail (40A total).
I read a few reviews and all of them gave good reviews about it. Only negative most reviews mentioned that the modular cable were stiff. Also the north american version does not have Active PFC if you are concerned with that.

That PSU is made by TopPower, same company that makes Mushkin, Scythe and some OCZ PSU's, so it should be fairly good I would think.

Nate is putting together a list of who makes what for who. 99% of the info can be found yourself by looking up the PSU's UL number.

Top Power has been making PSU's for some of the big names for years.
JonnyGURU also used to have a great list up on his site about who makes what for who. I haven't seen the list up in a while, but he still has a ton of great info up on PSU's. He's very helpful and informitive and also speaks english above a 3rd grade level.

It should be fine zaching. 40A should give you enough juice, and it comes from a reputable manufacturer ;) Good choice to upgrade your PSU though ;)
