I was just shopping around Mountain Mods site and noticed that they have released yet another new case for those wanting to build the ultimate system........... .
The Duality series of the U2-UFO offers you the ability to house TWO FULL ATX motherboards in a single case. The left side uses the standard ATX positioning while the right allows for another ATX motherboard in an inverted position. Four power supply ports are available for the heaviest of loads. Six 120mm intake blow holes are aligned for the use of TWO Thermochill 1203 radiators. Making this case capable of cooling two seriously hot systems. This version of the U2-UFO series is great for users that have a need for two systems.

I still like their other new one better though..........;)
The Horizon series of the U2-UFO offers a horizontal positioning of the motherboard. The Motherboard sits above the other components allowing it to be seen in all it's glory from the top panel. Two 3x5.25 bays allow for the use of up to six 5.25 devices. A brace is integrated into the design to support the motherboard in it's horizontal position.

Imagine building two computers in there, each with a quad-core chip... Technically you'd have a 8 processor computer ;)

and if you used 4 7950 cards you would have 8 GPUs, the possibilities are endless (depending on your wallet)
Than you would REALLY need the 4 PowerSupplies..

yah but remember, its actually 2 seperate computers, in one case, so unless you can find a way to make a bridge for the two mobo's its two completely different computers

It's all about semantics... I'd still call it a single computer as long as it was all inside one case, even if that is not really correct... ;)

IMHO, I think the Horizon model is the nicest the Mountain Mods ha come out with to date, except for the price that is............;) But there's also plenty of room for improvment..........;)

.....hmm that mobo bridge was a god idea...but really complicated to do...wuht kind of port would be fast enough to act as one whole mobo?
intense drivers...

Technically you would have 2 computers since the two boards aren't connected to eachother.

It would be pretty easy to set up a Firewire B link between two motherboards within a case... although I wouldn't know what to do with it after setting up local drive access permissions between them...

So does this make two boards acting like one or is it like a switch.

It'll let both boards talk to one another as if ya networked them, and some software can use the link, but it's not really useful for more than ultra fast file transfers... Synergy (http://synergy2.sourceforge.net/) should be able to use it though, so only one mouse/keyboard would be needed ;)

I think both cases would both be too rediculously large to go to a LAN party with. Has my disapproval.

Actually I would put a Coke (Beer) despenser in the middle of it. You could put a refrigeration unit in it for cooling.
(honestly I dont know thats not more popular cause I am always thirsty)

Well considering i have to lug a 21" or a 17" CRT along with me plus my PCs LAN carrier (The PC carrier) and my backpack full of the rest of the small things (cables, mouse, joystick ect). I think id rather have a laptop or a Qpack or something instead of lugging something to insanely huge. Oh yea, did i mention im usualy a gentlemen and carry my gfs PC as well for her? (she carries the rest).

I've also got a QPack, but I'd rather run my main rig..................;) It's much more fun running games at max settings.................:)
The QPack is on the right side of the pic...............:)

LOL......I've had the QPack for a long time (Wifes old box), but it's a bit beat up (dropped) and the outer cover is a bit bent (fixed 99%). I mainly use it for a server these days, but I do take it along when I'm in a hurry going down to my sons house (QPack + LCD make for a quick load).
