Well how many of you have it and do we want to play this weekend? I thinking even if we only get 3 or 4 we will still do a 8 player map.

The game totally rocks!!

I am so disappointed at the roll-out... my local Best Buy has had pre-order boxes on the shelves forever now. Still no availablity, although I could try CompUSA.

I just noticed they come in a CD and a DVD..Is one better than the other?

DVD would probably have an higher transfer rate due to the higher density, and there's less disc swapping

I have DVD, easy install compared to like 8 CD's to swap.

8 CD's?! Holy crap, that's alot of disc swapping... :? If you buy it, go for the DVD version for sure!

There is no reason why not to buy the DVD version unless you still live in teh stones-age and don't have a DVD-ROM drive.

I didn't find the time to play it yet.
Starcraft hooked me (again!) and I was playing it over the net and on LAN with some guys at work...
Amazing how many players still play it online.

COH Looks like a hell of a game, I'll surely try it sooner then later and will join you up, guys.

Meanwhile, have fun with it ;)

That's the case with my brother and the main computer here, an Athlon XP 2000. He's too cheap to buy something in that computer, you probably know the story, I bought everything, he's using it.

Ok, so my friends called me and said that Best Buy here in Reno has the game in stock, and picked up a (DVD) copy for me. I should be able to play this weekend.

Do we have a time and day set up?

Just found out that I have this game ;) my brother got the 7-CD version (Again, $20 is too much for a DVD drive)

Confirmed! I will have it up and ready around 2:50PM CST or sooner. If there aren't a lot of people, we could open it up to more players by removing the password... if it comes to that.

Good games today! That was really fun! I was glad that we had some pubs (public players) on the server when we played the second round, because it's cool to see how others do it.

Demo is just the first level of single players action. Full version is pretty damn cool for multiplayer action.

Just got this game. I haven't installed it yet....haven't had the time. It's all the talk over at CDU though. We may just run a full time server if i can get enough members on board with the idea. We've made it a democracy over there but as much as they seem to like it...I don't think it's going to be a problem.

Desert Combat is petering out and not enough like BF2 or it's mods.
We'll see.

Just got the game, should be here in 2-3 days.
To be exact, the wife got it for me as a surprise, she saw I loved the demo...
When is the next game planned? ;)
