HD-DVD vs BluRay, a possible solution

A company found a way to make multi-layer discs having a DVD, HD-DVD and BluRay version of the movie on the same disc.

Possible, since they cost 9¢ to produce instead of 6¢ for normal DVDs, which then cost $30+ at your DVD store. I don't like the part when they tell that you would have to pay licenses for all the three formats.
