Neat physics but nothing mind blowing. Ran "on an nVidia graphics solution"???? Could be Quad-SLi which should be able to run all of that; I wanna see a comparision between dualcore and quadcore FPS. This video doesn't really show much but its still neat.

I thought the water looked very impressive but not for the price that this thing is probably going to release at.

Right... only the water looks like a big improvement, the lighting still looks unrealistic. Also, the physics aren't all that great, we see some pieces of wood on fire jumping like superballs on the ground... (But that kind of thing is also happening with Ageia's PPU)

That's a pretty bad video actually, I couldn't see anything.

You can download HDTV clips from http://www.alanwake.com/movies.html (http://www.alanwake.com/movies.html)

And keep in mind the vids are not using DX10, and not run on the best of setups either. Ya can tell by the shadows popping up visibly and the lack of AA in 'em.

Looks much better now! I'll have to wait for the video to finish downloading tho.

Nice videos but we've all seen the movie trailers for up and coming games. They always are going to look better then actual game play. I guess I just expected more. Don't get me wrong, the graphics are very cool...especialy the water.
I noticed the trees shadows too and the rocks weren't very impressive. That might be just an artist thing though.
