Go online about ten minutes early so that you can create your account (in-game). Plus, make sure you play the tutorial and a few single player levels or you won't stand a chance.

i cant say i am an expert but i have played the beta and tutorials
this game make you think tactics
I am sorry to say that my copy has not arrived yet...
Som eproblem with the delivery.

I have tried to login for about 30 minutes now, with no luck. I think that we will have to try again for another day.

I played one more, and was very even if not winning, but then he brought in an army of tanks. Game over.

I was surprised at how badly we got beat on the 2v2 game we played Das. I know I'm not a great player but we really looked folish against those guys and we've played together before! I don't know if something fishy was going on or if we just got our asses handed to us that bad. I really need to practice a bit more. Too bad I don't have a better laptop I could play this on when I'm on the road.

I don't know if it's possible to cheat yet, but they sure seemed to have a large bunch of tanks way before we even finished capturing points.

i couldnt play another game - i had to go
but i think i should really practice
hoping next match we will be better
but the game looks great and almost no lag problem
my only problem was the the TS not working for me
maybe next time i will try to connect before the game

Aren't you supposed to be able to save the game after the game so you can watch a reply of it? Should be a good way to both see if the opponents cheat or at least figure out their tacticts.
I'm in the middle of the SP game and more and more starting to realize I need to use anti-tank weapons a lot more. A couple of anti-tank guns set up in a good overlapping firing-pattern together with 4-5 good mortar teams and soldiers with sticky bombs or anti-tank weapons can wreck havoc with larger number of tanks. Especially if you got tank obstacles that herd the tanks into places you choose. But that depends on getting all done in time.
I'ms till having problems balancing my attack/defence.

While I enjoy the SP version of the game, it is nowhere near playing a human. I say this because in the SP mode, you can slice away at the map, and the enemy will never come out after you in much force. A human will build up an entire army just to roll into your main territory.

AT sure makes the life of a tank rusher very hard.

It just confirmed that my style of gameplay (in CoH) is not as seriously competitive as some of these guys.
I think this genre is built on human vs human games.
The AI is just for practice and maybe for the story line...
It is just not interesting to play against the computer, at least for me.
There are other genres (RPG) that are more suitable for SP mode.
But in global, it's much more challanging and suspenseful to play against another person :)
