Somehow I missed the release of this new case from Lian-Li, maybe because it's not on their web site yet. But for you Lian-Li lovers out there that need a ton of room and storage space (Scott) this might be a perfect case for you if you have the extra cash.

Looks like this case is only made by Lian-Li and designed by others and not intended for the US (yet), maybe down the road it will be sold here...........;)

Please Note: This case is only manufactured by Lian Li but not designed by them, as I have been in contact with the designers of the case. That’s the reason it won’t be listed on Lian Li’s website, its not a official product!

Microplex.no who sell the case, will not ship internationally but only in Norway, they have asked any possibly distributors to contact them if they are interested in providing this case to their customers.

Not likin your MountainMods anymore sbrehm? hehe

Not sure about the international part but I guess you need a great/close relationship as Rodney mentioned to get one of these badboys.

Anyhow Rodney does a very neat video review at 3DGameMan.com (http://www.3dgameman.com/content/view/4708/103/)
There are just a few cube cases on the market, and this one is spectacular. The overall build quality, construction, features, accessories, drive bays (18 x 5.25"), air circulation (3 optional 120mm & 2 optional 80mm fans), the different compartments, and so on, makes this an exceptional product. The only thing that this case is missing is a removable motherboard tray. Overall though, it's an unbelievable all aluminum cube case! Watch the Video to find out more..." ~3dGameMan.com
As Rodney says: "Its a 100% Kickass Product".

Yikes... that case looks as though it would take up half our loft area. It could double as a shelter for midgets... (a darned nice one though!)

Oh, well, I've never run into one where he doesn't say at the end "this is a 100% kickass product"

I'll have to agree with you on that also, most of the ones I've watched from him are that way. But I will addmit that I only watch his reviews every so often on products that I'm really interested in................;)

That case looks truely huge; can't say I'm a fan of the looks, though it does appear very clean and minimalistic. Not sure what makes the case modular though?

Bio-Hazard
10-08-2006, 05:04 PM
They say modular due to the fact that the differant pannel sections are changeable, IE: the top section has 3 or 4 differant inserts. But mostly it's just a marketing ploy........;)

4 1/2 days left to go on Ebay for this big monster and I've still got the highest bid of a whopping $61.00 US. I would have thought that the price would have gone much higher by now.

The craphead selling the case blocked me from bidding on the case for some reason. He must be a total butthead.

markkleb
10-12-2006, 06:01 AM
a lot of people dont like to sell to people without any past history of buying.

Bio-Hazard
10-12-2006, 06:04 AM
Oh well, his loss, but he's still a butthead. It's more than likely 3D Gameman himself.

Bio-Hazard
10-12-2006, 06:16 AM
Well, I haven't a clue..........:( It was OK when I made my first bid a couple of days ago, and now all of a sudden it's a no go. I sent him a message and asked why, but I don't really expect a answer back.

werty316
10-12-2006, 06:33 AM
Its better to deal with someone you who has some feedback then someone who doesn't as there are alot of crooks on Ebay.

Wait I just checked and your bid is still there. Check again.

I just tried to submit another higher bid and it said that the seller blocked me from any further bidding on the item. I guess my money isn't good enough, I meet all the requirerments that he posted for bidding as well.

markkleb
10-12-2006, 06:43 AM
Thats suprising because usually the seller posts that you need to have feedback. I didnt see that anywhere in the add.
I would complain to Ebay....

werty316
10-12-2006, 06:45 AM
Well there are no rules saying a seller can't with-hold a users bid as it is his/her auction and can do as they wish.

The seller is just a ASS IMHO........;)

Time to tell the world.

werty316
10-12-2006, 07:01 AM
Basing the fact he banned you from his auciton shouldn't perceive him as an ass to you since you don't know Rodney at all since it looks like you really wanted the case. I can't say if he is or if he isn't either since I don't know him. I am just member of his forums.

Again any seller can do as they please to their auctions althought it would have been better to mention in the auction that "anyuser with a "0" rating will be banned".

I guess you'll have to wait when it is availble to the US.

Maybe buy something on ebay so your rating isn't "0" since its been "0" since 2004 ;)

Not sure if this would fly with him but maybe you should have bid at the last moment.

Bio-Hazard
10-12-2006, 07:21 AM
I just stopped visiting and recomending his forums/site as well, not the type of person I want to deal with at all, oh well, on to bigger and better things......;)

Kougar
10-13-2006, 01:51 AM
Hmm. eBay has a setting under seller preferences to auto-block all bidders that meet certain criteria, such as neg ratings or 0 feedback as just two examples. I personally set the 0 feedback option in my case... but I guess since you were able to bid the first time around he didn't have that set.

If you want the case still I'd be willing to throw a bid on it for you?

Bio-Hazard
10-13-2006, 01:56 AM
Right now I wouldn't take the case from him if it was to save the buttheads life. I hope he chokes on the money he gets from it and dies.

But thanks for the offer anyways.........;)

werty316
10-13-2006, 03:43 AM
I think your hatred toward Rodney has gone beyond what it should have just because you wanted that case really bad; just chill ;)

tomato
10-13-2006, 06:36 AM
That's too bad sbrehm... but if the seller did have an auto-blocker for bidder with (0) feedback, wouldn't that have blocked your initial bid? Curious...

The case sold for a final price of $330 plus $45 shipping on Ebay, not that good of a deal anyway I guess.

With Rodney's rep, paying alot for his reviewed hardware isn't surprising.

Bio-Hazard
10-17-2006, 05:35 AM
If you say so.......;) I've never been so impressed to over pay for used hardware myself. I guess that's the main reason I've never ended up winning any bidding wars on Ebay, I go maybe half of retail at best and that's it.........:)
