2 pallettes of Dell LCD monitors going for $899 and &999 each. One pallet has 19 monitors and the other has 20. It says they almost all have a problem where they turn off automatically after a period of time. Not sure if it's an easy fix or not but if someone here has the know how to fix them you could end up with a great monitor and tons of ebay fodder.

Product Features http://www.pacificgeek.com/images/spacer.gifThese are returns from customers. All are intact. The screens are in great shape. Most power on but when left on for a couple of minutes or hours, shut off. All power adapters included. As is - NO warranty. 90% have some type of power problem. Most in original Dell box.The primary reason these were returned is due to the units being powered up and then shutting down after a period of time, sometimes minutes, hours or days.

Indeed, looks very nice for someone who knows how to fix the issue.
Kind of weird they have a "retail price" on there as well though
Does this mean dell doesn't want to take them back themselves (as these guys are selling RMA's)?

Sounds nice, unless the problem is unsolvable, but $600 for 20 LCDs is pretty cheap  I'm not going to buy this tho : customs, money, space, shipping

Whoa, this can't be right. On a whim I checked the shipping cost... it listed. $4.99 for FedEx ground.

The turn-off issue at first sounds like something a simple firmware update could fix... but $1k is a bit much of a gamble, $5 shipping or not. I bet many of them have pixel issues, only about three of those monitors look to be current models.
