BF2 noises

whenever i play bf2, either with headfones or my speakers, there are crackling noises during gameplay. i dont no what to do, should i increase the quality in audio options?

What sound card are you using?

integrated. but i connect my headfones through the speakers, little headfone jack on the volume contoroller, then i tried it in my fron audio ports of the case, and still the crackling, its alot more in planes and artillery

Actually you should try decreasing the sound quality. It sounds like this is to much for your integrated audio chipset.

kk thx, there is also something that says hardware or software, which one should i pick? and do i enable eax?

right now its on software, and medium eax is also on

DO NOT ENABLE EAX! Your ears will bleed with the racket it produces on a non-EAX system. Also, it should be set to hardware... always.

Looks like a tip to remember : disabling EAX

I already had problems like this, and had to diable EAX if I remember correctly. The sound card was an SBlive...
