Won't work. It doesn't require a unique key to install the game, which means you can install on countless computers and have a LAN party, but online account must have a unique key. Besides, it's only $40.

I would like to play Saturday or Sunday. I can also play in the evenings PST.

don't know what the wife has planned for me, first weekend we have both been off for 4 months.

So you guys set a time and I will try to make it.

How does 1PM PST/ 4PM EST sound for Saturday, and a repeat on Sunday if anyone is interested.

Probably won't be able to make it either of those days but I'll try.

The day my main rig is back together I'll see about putting my new monitor and GPU to some good use with COH. I've not played a single game with this system yet!! Now if I can just get this situation with Foxconn worked out...

Um, you'll be on Scott's team. :)

I just suffered through teaching two friends the basics for a few hours last night. Even after days of telling them to complete the tutorial they swore they wouldn't need it. Just one single CPU player set on easy killed the both of them in minutes. It was ugly.

Moral: Do the tutorial, and understand it. I equate the tutorial to teaching you how to get in the car and put your hands on the wheel. The single player mode teaches you how to drive, and skirmish teaches you how to race.

I can't wait for my life to get back to normal so I can get on and play more. Things have been so crazy for me the last couple months. Argh! Right now I'm in Puerto Rico because when I was out working in Nebraska they called me up and said they needed me here. I spend more time on airplanes than I do with my family. I need a new job, is anyone hiring??? ;-)

I'll stop the pity party now...

Anyone know if it's possible to get CoH working on older video cards? My laptop has a Radeon 9000 and CoH doesn't even want to try to work. This thing would probably be so slow I'm not sure if I'd even want it to work.

I was playing before on my X800GTO and it was fine.

my friend has a radeon 9200 for his desktop, and when he installed the game, everytghing is just blobs, the ground is just brown, and u can even see the units, just some houses, COMPLETELY UNPLAYABLE

An X800GTO has a lot more going for it than the mobile Radeon 9000 used in my laptop.

Thx for the info Darkorb, I guess I will stop trying to see if there's a way. No sense in wasting my time if it's going to be unplayable.

Ohh, I'm not the average gamer... I pick and choose my games, because I prefer to know every detail, trick, and mechanics of how everything works, and I do start out with the trainers/AI and work my way up. :) It is not likely that I can remove this unstable Foxconn board and plug my DS3 back in until Monday though... after my new kit of RAM comes in I'm giving that a try, and then if no joy then I am writing off this board and it's coming out one way or another.

XJNine, I am pretty sure my 9600XT wouldn't even come close unless everything was set to minimal settings. A 9800Pro is likely minimum I think... Anything below a 9600 class Radeon just doesn't have the hardware or recent enough DX9 version in it.

That's what I figured, I just thought there might be a way to at least practice a bit on my laptop. Oh well...

Kougar,

I am really sorry about the mobo issues, most review products are not this funky.

I won't be finished with my day until about 7:30PM CST; so it doesn't look good for me today.
