View Full Version : Company of Heroes Lagging...
Hey guys,
I must say I hate the mechanism that lets a player kick another player for lagging.
I had a few games last hour or two, and got kicked about 4 times, right before winning the game (in 3 of them).
This can make me go crazy!!! errrrrrrrr
They see they are about to lose and then, use the lagging system to kick me out and I steal my winning point!
Am I the only one who's pissd about this???
P.S
I don't lag at all, the game go smoothly 99% of the time...

I know that when you played on the server I created, you kept showing as receiving a lag grace. Of course, you dropped on the next one. I think that your connection might not be as good as others, and they are voting you off. Generally, I do not vote anyone off.
I had some lag issues back then because of my firewall, but now it is alright.
Still, why would a guy kick me when I have 99% of the sectors and all three victory points, when all my forcdes are in or very close to his headquarters and the game is already over???
Happened at least 3 times!!!
No way they quit because of lag, I know that for certain!

Did you know that the game automatically starts a kick vote for players who lag? They weren't the ones to start the vote; but they did vote when they didn't have to.

I don't like their ad, T1 1,5mbps connection for $389 USD per month...
Here I have 3mbps down, 800kbps up unlimited bandwidth for $29 CAD (Speakeasy telling 2,5mbps / 600kbps, and my own ISP's speed test is showing the same... looks like I should also use cat5 between the phone jack and modem too ;) for $5 more I could get 7mbps / 800kbps cable internet with 20gb dn / 10gb up -- only)
