Look who's taking advantage of the new GPU folding client. They've only had a team together for less than 2 weeks but they're shooting up quick!

Holy crap that is nuts.

Heres something odd the extremeoverclocking stats doesn't show all the members of that team here: http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/user_list.php?s=&t=51394 but the Standford stats show all the users on that team: http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/main.py?qtype=teampage&teamnum=51394

A few of their guys have computer farms and must have some with X1900 GPUs.

What I think is interesting is see all the old webmaster on that work for them now. I recognize about 15 of those guys who used to have great hardware sites that gave it up to work for ATI.

I know a bunch of guys folding with ATI GPU..........those things really crank out some WU, a CPU folder doesn't stand a chance against them.

I can just imagine the kind of internal competition those guys have. Competing in a tight circle of employees and such, it must be pretty intense, but fun. In any case they should surpassing MIT by tonight, which should rather amusing for the company since they've only been up for a little over 3 weeks. Wonder how far this will go though, and does anyone know if there's a seperate AMD team as well?

I didn't know the client was good to go with the new nvdia cores already?

I know the forum pubbers at AMD's own forums have their own team, they are in 84th position overall. http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/team_list.php?s=
