Guys I chose a pc to replace my HP, but unfortuanetly my xps will have to wait because my dad doesnt like the high pricetag of an 8800, so here are the specs of the HP slimline pc.

Intel CoreSolo T2300 1.83ghz 677mhz FSB
250GB Unknown Manufacturer HDD
Integrated Ati Radeon x300 graphics
Not sure what MoBo
1GB 800Mhz memory
Unknown DVD-RW lightscribe dvd-rw
TV tuner and firewire
Wireless LAN router
This for $699.99 CDN

Its a basic pc but much better than my 6830, i love the size as i can hide it away :) as for the dell xps i will get it once a 7900 equivelant dx10 card comes out because of the price, what do you guys think of it? im not sure of the part manufacturers yet as i just bought it last night

How much did something like that run you?

Not a bad little system although I'm not sure how well it will run your Flight Simulator X. Obviously this system is a spare from looking at your sig thugh, where are you planning on using it?

it cost me $699.99 CDN, im just going to use it for quick browsing and video editing for now since my current system does not have firewire, other than that its just for my sisters to fool with. i cant wait to get a proper gaming pc when dx10 comes out:)

You will have to wait long for the 8900 which is probably gonna be the 7900 equivalent dx10 cards; they will be expensive like the 8800 so whats the point for not getting a 8800 card? I guess your Christmas plan is a no go...

why not just a 8800?
His dad says it costs too much and its like the 8900, which should be the 7900 equivelant dx10 card, will be cheap when it comes out...

itll be half the price of an 8800 like the 7900 is half the price of a 7800, unless i go with the 9200 or a different manufacturer

7900GTX/GT isn't half the price of the 7800GTX/GT so why would the 8900GTX/GTS be half the price of a 8800GTX/GTS ;)

8800GTX is suppose to sell for at a low point of $650USD and the 8800GTS at $450USD.

What is a 9200???
