Need a new psu

well my 430w seasonic crapped out, the cooling fan on it stopped spinning. im gonna rma it, and then see if i can get a refund, or sell i.

so i now need a new psu, to power whats in my sig, i dont want to get antec, so im thinkin either the 580w hiper psu, but ive read they can be a bit un-reliable, or the 600w version of what i have now, or this new coolermaster one, that looks quite good, so here the 3 im thinkin, unless someone can sugest a better alternative

The Seasonic 600W is very nice, but I would still prefer an Antec TP-650 over all of your choices. It will probably cost less too.

I am surprised a 430W PSU ran your rig as long as it did considering you have a X1900XT.

I also would choose the Seasonic 600W out of the lot basd on specs.

Hiper 580 Type R, works great, lasts a long long time, mine is still going strong in my sons rig, 24/7...;)

Yeah, issue is he is in the UK. ;) I've seen the GameXStream for as little as $110 if you catch the rebates on a good day... can't wait to see how low in price the new GameXstream 850watt gets. Fry's even had the NeoHE 550watt for $80 no rebate a little while back now.

I have the new Seasonic 550Watt S12 Energy+ 80Plus and it's great, you can check out my review on my site..

it is probably one of the most stable PSU's I have ever owned/reviewed.. and I've reviewed/owned a lot of them..

extremely quiet, 4 12v rails, haven't had a problem yet with it and you can see what I run in my sig
