7900gt xxx, is this the correct BIOS file???

hi, i´m having the same problem as a lot of people about the fan´s speed

i´ve got this 550/1630 baby and the noise is driving me mad so i´m searching for the new bios to fix it, here is my problem

i have a pv-t71g-ucp3 card (7900gt xxx 550m extreme) and the bios file from this web http://www.bjorn3d.com/pafile/index.php?act=view&id=49 is for the pv-t71g-ucp, so it´s a number 3 missing at the end

so, here is the question

is the pv-t71g-ucp bios file ok for my card?? it´s the final number missing because it works for all the pv-t71g-ucp´s at there???

Yes, that bios is the correct one for your video card. The very last number in our product number is a representation of packaging options so a pv-t71g-ucp3 is the same as a pv-t71g-ucp7 only difference is in packaging.

WTF, i had to open the case to check if the fan was still running ;-)
