I'm getting the same problem as the guy in this thread:
http://www.bjorn3d.com/forum/showthread.php?p=58367#post58367

Help, I have the same card, flashed the bios and am getting the same error

The fan speen seems to be fixed but I can't install the drivers. I can install the forceware drivers found on guru3d, but not the version downloaded from nvidia.

But I can not install the drivers for the card, windows just says plug and play monitor.

Do I really have to send this brand new card back because this bios flash sqrewed it up? Seems like it will just keep happening again and again if I don't want to hear the super loud fan.

Anyway to get the original bios back?

That's just great i bought that same card today and now the sound of the fan is driving me nuts. So i guess i can't even flash it now? Everyone seems to get an error or some kind of problem when they flash it. Whats the deal, this is ridiculas, it sounds like i got a 10 wheeler in my house.

N.M: i did it using the info on Nvidia's site and did a backup just incase, everything's perfect now i'll be able to sleep finaly the fan is quiet lol

Skyodyssey, just to check did you create a support ticket with XFX through their website, and were they able to help you if so?

Skyodyssey, did you COMPLETELY removed the previous drivers? I recommend to use Driver Cleaner Pro (http://www.drivercleaner.net/) to completely clean the drivers and then do a clean install and see if it works... :???:

GOOD LUCK and don't hesitate to ask more questions if you need...

"I can install the forceware drivers found on guru3d"

Thats sounds like you need monitor drivers not card drivers.
They are two totally different things.

Find the make and model of you monitor, or lcd screen, download and install the monitor drivers, or just use the disc that came with it if you still have it.
