The other thread has got too long so I though I better start a new one.
The story to date

TONY - 2006/11/24] Hi, I think we have secured the same model and will let you know later. Thanks Tony

[TONY - 2006/11/24] Hi, Hi, good news, your replacement has been despatched and should be with you monday. Thanks Tony

[allan hook - 2006/11/28] It is now Tuesday afternoon and still no sign of the card. Can you confirm that the card has actually been sent? regards, Allan

[TONY - 2006/11/30] Hi, it appears the replacement was sent to your registered address, but will contact the parcel company to re-direct. Please update your registration details with your correct address. Thanks Tony

[allan hook - 2006/11/30] Either address will be ok. It has not arrived at the address in my registration details which is actually my home address. I assume if they were unable to deliver they would have left a card. Which company are you using? It is now 6.00 Thursday, I feel that this has been going on for far too long and would like a speedy resolution.

[TONY - 2006/12/01] Hi, yes, they should have left a card (interlink), are you in a position to be able to collect from the brighton branch? Thanks Tony

I have now driven to the Interlink branch (a round trip of 24 miles) to be told that they have no record of a parcel being delivered to my address. I need a tracking number to find out if they actually have had the parcel.
So on Monday it's back on the 60 pence a minute line to try and sort out exactly where they have sent the replacement card, if they have sent it at all.
I think the UK department of XFX is an utter shambles.

I've got it back!!!

It seems the last weeks' delay was caused by the delivery firm. The van broke down on Friday and he denied all knowledge of the previous Monday's delivery!
It's working fine now but I do feel that a month without the card is too long.

If they had tested it on the games I specified straight away it could have been back in a couple of days.

Please keep me informed on how your card performs now. Glad to see you got a card back. If you have any problems please let me know and I will always try to work with my fellow XFX employees overseas to help resolve customers issues.

Yah of course its long to wait for a card.
But you have to tell yourself that its like that everywhere.
And even worst sometimes.
Plus it wasn't intirely XFX's fault.
I remember waiting 1 month and a half 2 months for my ATI card a long time ago when I lived in Nevada.
I think it was a 8500 but I don't really remember.. i'll ask my friend he's bought it from me a while back (a long while back lol) and he still has it and it still works...

Thanks for all your support, I think it was being able to post here that kept me sane :ahhhhh:
I suppose it wasn't really that long but when you are totally without a computer it seems like years!
Once again thank you XFX Support you really got things moving at the start for me.
