tommorw im going to get the wood for my new wooden pc, probaly ash, but maby oak, the design os going to be more simple than my previous design, effectivly i will just have a square space to work with in side, i know how it will look on the out side but im just wondering about the interior layout, the cd drive will come out the side verticly, and on the opposite side i may cut in to the wood and have a sort of window. it will have water cooling, including a 3fan rad, im tempted to have the psu at the bottom, upside down, as it has a fan uderneith, but ideally i want the rad on the bottom, with holes in the base of the pc for the fans, heres a pic of what im thinkin, i havnt thought bo0ut dimensions yet so its not to scale, any ideas for improvement? http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y45/rilt/untitled-18.jpg

Not the best location for the rad, but if you want to keep it hidden... Just make sure there is plenty of ground clearence underneath and airflow going into the case to support a 3 120mm fan tri-rad exhaust. That was the only thing I saw though... wish ya luck with it! :)

What he said about the clearance...... About a inch should work fine if the case is setting on a hard surface. I know of several folks that installed radiators in the bottom and they worked fine. My boss Shawn at a different site installed a dual swifty rad in the bottom od his Cooler Master Centurion 5 with good results.

I love the idea. You should go old school stereo style with maybe a cherry stain. Maybe mico-atx and go horizontal instead of vertcal like your last one.

right, i finished the plan, there will be about 3cm of space beneth the case, and the pump will go above the rad, and the psu at the top as per usule, i can see that working out well, i bought the oak today and its beautiful, the dimensions over all will be 54cm high, and 46cm deep, and bout 22cm wide, ill start work on it tommorw, thats for the input, ill post some pics tommow
