So has anyone here been keeping up with this, or actually done business with them?
Not exactly looking for speculation, there is more than plenty in this thread (http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1115217&page=1&pp=20).
I think Puget Computer's page (http://www.pugetsystems.com/monarch_computer.php) pretty well sums it up from what's known.

Lets put it this way, I quit dealing with them 1 year ago. There had to be a reason right!

The last time I shopped there was when I got my wifes Abit AV8 S939 board back when the AMD Winchester core was the best thing going. To make a long story short, they were supposed to flach the bios so the board would work with the new core and they didn't do it. I had to drive over to a different web sites owners house and use his CPU to flash my rig, that was the last time I used their crap company.

Good riddence if they do close. They are no stranger to my clan and not one person there trusts them as far as they could throw them. Much of my clan came from a forum that was fronted by Monarch. Seems that its all catching up to them.

Wow, I didn't know they'd gone bad so long ago. I was mostly just eyeing the recent history...

Thanks for the input guys, I was fairly curious about them. Figured I might start a warning post about them, but I guess I really didn't need to.

I read somewhere that they officially went out of business. Treat your customers poorly and it'll catch up with you eventually.

Yeah, oddly enough the only dealing I had with them was for something I won in a contest on a forum called AthlonXP.com and it was a headache getting the prize, kept getting excuses from the owner left and right about why it wasn't sent out. So from that little experience long ago (it was a Ti4800 video card) I didn't have much faith in their customer service.

Their brick&mortar store officially went out of business, but the excuse was they were focusing on their website only.
