I look forward to playing with toys, rather then evaluating them for once.

Warm wishes to everyone here at Bjorn3d, and I hope you have a great time throughout the holidays.

Regards,

Olin Coles

Actually Kwanzaa is not based on religion... (from their web site:)
"Kwanzaa was not created to give people an alternative to their own religion or religious holiday. And it is not an alternative to people's religion or faith but a common ground of African culture."

So anyway, happy festival of the birth of the Unconquered Sun everyone!

Now we get the PC perspective on how to wish someone a Merry Christmas. Here is a good one someone posted on my site.

For My Democratic Friends:

Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, our best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to observe religious or secular traditions at all.

We also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated recognition of the generally accepted calendar year 2007, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures.

For My Republican Friends:

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Best wishes and happy holiday to everyone! I'll probably be here tomorrow during the day, and setting up a triple-boot setup on my grand-parents' 2nd iMac. (Oh, great...)

I could care less about kwanzaa. Whatever the heck it is supposed to mean to whomever. If people don't have to tolerate Christmas, Nativity scenes, Christ birth, Christmas trees, then I don't have to tolerate quilts and candlesticks.

Tolerance is a two way street, if you can't tolerate my beliefs then screw yours :)

Merry Christmas

In theory kwanzaa is about tolerance and a lot of good happy things... But it's in part a political movement, I suppose. You do have to speak a bit of swahili to perform the rituals correctly, for instance. My Swahili is quite rusty...

The funny thing, to me, is that if someone started a similar holiday based on "affirming and promoting common values and culture" of Europe like kwanzaa does for Africa, most of us would be spending the holidays celebrating Capitalism and Imperialism. :)

Oh wait... I think that holiday exists already. ::redface:

I usually just say "Happy Holidays" and leave it at that. :)

So, Happy Holidays everyone! :) And ask yourself this... when we establish bases on Mars, Io & outer space, when are the holidays going to be celebrated? :help:

Well it is a bit late to wish you all Merry Christmas and Hanukkah is over, but that doesn't mean there still isn't cause for celebration. Hope you all joined whichever holiday or holidays are yours along with the holiday break in general. Enjoy any gifts, have fun the family or friends, don't take anything to seriously and I'll see everyone in the New Year. Happy holidays to all.
