As the title says. :p

I say, STAR TREK ALL THE WAY!!! I like TNG the most, nut Voyager also seems good. Haven't seen any others aside from TOS.

I like them both, but have to say I am a fan of Star Wars more than Star Trek.

I loved Star Trek In Finland when I was about 4-6 years old, used to watch it for 4 hours every day, I loved the weird faces they had and the flashy lights and spacecraft then... good times, good times

TOS is, but Voyager isn't. ;) Anyway, seems like half of the people like wars, and the other half like trek.

Guess I just turned that tables back toward Star Trek then. DS9 and Voyager certainly had their good points, though I probably liked Voyager just a bit more. That's not to mention the movies and spinoffs like Babylon 5. There's just so much out there when it comes to Star Trek so in that there's more to like, more story development, and just a richer story in general. That's not to say I don't appreciate Star Wars as well, since they were one of the movie sets I grew up with, but there are only 6 star wars movies vs. Star Trek which can claim so much more to it's credit.

I first liked TOS, then TNG, but now I'd say I'd have to go with DS9 with Voyager pulling a second. Star Wars is great, but it only showed up in the movies. There's close to 30 seasons of Star Trek episodes out there, and probably soon to be twice the movies as well compared to Star Wars.

I won't get into the Star Trek movies, except to say I really hope they can in the very least do a decent job with #11 that's in the works. At least it's off to a good start with a new director and such.

I always felt like it was silly to compare Star Wars and Star Trek. To me they're apples and oranges. The technology in Star Wars seemed lower tech than Star Trek but the ultimate power in Star Wars was the Force so I guess that makes up for it. Star Trek was around much earlier than Star Wars and I believe that without Star Trek there wouldn't have been a Star Wars (or even a Battlestar Galactica for that matter). Without Star Wars we wouldn't have had decent special effects in the Star Trek movies or series that followed in the 80's and beyond since most of the effects were invented making the Star Wars movies and Industrial Light and Magic created most of the effects for the Star Trek movies and series that followed.

For most of the younger portion of my life, I thought Star Wars was lame and would have voted for Star Trek. I enjoyed watching DS9, TNG, and especially Voyager. Recently, I've taken a liking to Star Wars. This poll inspired me to have a go at Star Trek again, and I'm going back to my roots.
