Can a Mac play say call of duty 2 against a PC player???

You can play any multiplayer game against anyone else regardless of platform. As long as they make it for a Mac and a PC you can play against them. They make CoD2 for the Mac.

Yeh my dad boughtit for his mac.. and wondered why he has only like 4-5 servers and i have 50+.. odd.. maybe hes not running latest updates.. thanks for help

Patches could definitely have something to do with it. The game dev may not release patches for different versions at the same time.
