I have a brand new Core Duo T2500 (2.0Ghz, 667FSB, 2MB shared L2 Cache) looking for a new home in a Yonah Centrino-based laptop. Used only to test for compatibility in an Asus Z62J whitebook - it was, but put in a T7200 merom instead.

Newegg Price $299 US (Newegg Linky (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819111178))

My Price $225 US (includes UPS shipping to any point in Continental US or Canada)

If you are interested, PM me.

Yes you can. But only if the motherboard and its chipset is compatible. For this CPU you need a NAPA/Centrino platform (most Centrino laptops are NAPA compliant). The Core Duo processors are compatible with more laptops than the Core 2 Duo mobile (merom). The CPU is socketed in the laptop motherboard like a desktop cpu.
