You guys are pathetic! ;)

Das Capitolin & I were the only ones scoring points this last update:

You guys really need to pull your weight! ;)

Actually, it's been fun competing w/ you guys. I'm about to hit 10K points on F@H and I actually find myself checking the scoreboard fairly often, in anticipation of an update. :)

Well, I'm glad you said it; because it has been on my mind for a while now. I mean, how is that even the site owner doesn't fold for his own team? How bad is that!?!

I suppose that if you guys don't want to fold for the team, maybe it is an example I should follow.

I don't know why mine isn't showing up, I still have some systems folding. Hmm...

XJnine - You're doing great. The updates only happen every few hours (and none of your machines sent results in during that time period). Your daily average, 300+ pts per day, is more than twice mine!

I'm hoping that some of those who have 0 points for the last WEEK will crank up at least 1 computer and contribute for the team.

It only updates every 3 hours, and only shows THE updates for that 3 hour period. Even when I was folding 1,600+ points as my 24 hour average half of the 3 hour updates slots were empty. It's not quantity, it's quality...

Folding as fast as my 3700+ and P4 1.5 can go :)

My main comp is folding as long as it's powered on(Not very often), otherwise it crashes.

I read about this and started folding yesterday for the first time, but I still don't understand what the points are for. Can somebody explain? What's the difference if you have a bunch of points or just a little?

Scott does fold, but only when his system is on. :)

Points are basically allocated depending on complexity, size, and expected length of time taken to complete compared to their "basic" PC used as a reference point. Users who specially configure their clients can get bonus points for folding unusually large or high resource projects, ontop of the usual points gained.

i finally understood right away what it was when I read the quote, "protein folding, misfolding etc," have another question though, how does a computer simulate the misfolds and folds, just like in real life?
