umm over the course of this week i have noticed some performance decrease in my games and such although i have no idea why this is happeneing for no reason i havent changed any thing in my system at all and i updated my drivers and scanned for spyware and any thing else that could be taking up resources so then today i ran 3dmark 06 with all default settings at resoultion 1024x768 and my score was around 2300ish when i usually get around 3100 i am stumped at what to do i can only think that maybe my clock speeds are messed up but i am so lost and mad as hell because this just happened for no reason
my system specs:
intel pentium 4 @ 3.4ghz with ht
1gb DDRAM
300gb hd
geforce 7800GS agp 256 mb (XFX)
system runs on a 500w psu

Ya shouldn't ever install software or drivers for hardware you don't have. It's very likely that's the problem right there. Unless you were using the software for something else, I'd suggest completely removing it and seeing if that fixes things. :)

hahaha i couldnt help myself by laughing, if the pins are bent the Mobo is useless: and, how is it possible to run a CPU with bent pins on the mobo?? and how did this happen? and how the heck id you get a high score after? is this a joke!??!!?

You got ur 3D marks increased after bending the CPU pins.:ahhhhh:
Everybody, take out your screwdriver & bend ur CPU pins. It's the easiest way to get better 3D Marks score.Wow,to increase my 3D Marks, I won't have to buy another ram stick.Just a small screwdriver will do.
Mousiness, his CPU pins r not only bent, they have fallen off means they r now detached from the CPU.So, it's possible to plug the CPU to the socket.I wonder, how the pins got bent though.

It's very easy to bend CPU pins, they bend like nothing.
