Wouldn't you need a HD-DVD rom/burner in your computer?

I guess you can rip it to your computer and watch it normally but movies do look better on a TV than on a montor.

Well, you need a HDDVD rom of course. Like the Xbox360 drive. This software seems to fix so that you should be able to watch the movie on a TV even if your video card does not support HDCP.

Main feature of AnyDVD is it strips the copy protection of a DVD/HD-DVD so you can burn a copy.

You can rip an HD-DVD, copy it w/o protection, remove the HDCP protection while playing a movie if the computer doesn't have a HDCP compatible video card and monitor, etc. It gets rid of the whole DRM thing.

The Xbox 360 drive is the cheapest HD-DVD drive I think.
