These news are a bit old, but I just saw it and thought you might be interested reading it. I really liked that 2KW (!!!) OCZ PSU and also their new mice...;-)
OCZ is making a big play to move out of just being a memory company in 2007, and we got the first glimpses of that today at CES.
Obviously, memory has always been OCZ's calling card, and today we saw some PC10000 memory that the company is shipping. Whilst yields are low, this is clearly super-fast stuff.
Also on show was the watercooling system for the RAM blocks - a hybrid copper and aluminium design. It looks the business, and is something truly innovative in the memory market, which is not something we can say very often.
To go with the watercooled memory, OCZ is releasing a CPU block and all-in-one kit which should allow people to set up decent WC systems at a reasonable price. The waterblock has an interesting 'spotty' design, which aluminium being threaded into the copper to improve some of the cooling properties.
Gaming mice are two a penny these days, but OCZ is hoping that this one is better designed than most. It has a scroll wheel that illuminates in a bunch of different colours, just in case you can't find it in a low-light environment! It comes in a couple of different sizes, designed for palm-mousers and finger-mousers.

OCZ has some pretty interesting products lined up for this year, now only if they see the light of day sometime...........;)
They have been trying to bring their Phase Cooler to market for over a year or so and it's still not here.
Oh, about their water block, they can keep it, I just had a water block with a plexi top crack and crack and piss all over my computer. I'm not going to mention any name brands here (Silverstone), but I'd stay as far away from plexi topped water blocks as you possibly can.........:ahhhhh: .

Yeah...you'd better not mention 'em!!!
BTW, OCZ's new mice (the Desktop and Laptop models) are basically (at least, from what I've heard) A4Tech mice, so I think OCZ will ask A4Tech to manufacture them, but will do the promotion and try selling them for a higher prize, as the A4Tech mice are significantly cheaper!
Have a look here:

They have to many buttons for my liking...........;) My simple mind would have trouble remembering which one is for what.......................:)

The button that imitates 3-instant left-button clicks is rather interesting. Instead of clicking once to fire one bullet you could click once and fire three a couple ms apart. I'd be curious to see how well it actually works in games like Half Life or Crysis... can you imagine a 3 3-round bursts spaced a few ms apart for example? Some games would probably let the user get away with it too.
Sorry to hear of your watercooling mishap Sbrehm! :( Were there any secondary casualties, or do ya have a thread somewhere about it?

Nothing real serious I guess, I was running it on a older system (my wifes......:ahhhhh: ), and it killed the video card. ..............:jawdrop: . The system had been running great for about a week before the block top cracked. I've got everything cleaned up and up and running again already as well. But the sad part about the whole thing is that crappy Silverstone won't step up and even offer to make things right, not even a "We're sorry", nothing, not a word out of the worthless crap heads.
They might make great cases, but their water coolers are total junk, I even had to repair the main box before I could use it, crap was falling apart on the insides.

Couldn't even get a warranty on the block itself, to maybe foist it upon ebay or something?? Hmm...

Yeah, I also liked the idea of this 3-instant-clicks button. It allows to use weapons in semi-automatic-like mode...

That's realyl shame! :frown: I would expect Siverstone to AT LEAST apologize, if not to make you up for the damage that was caused by the leaking/cracked waterblock...

I would have thought rhat they would have at least said something as well, but I guess they think their poop don't stink and this won't hurt their rep any.
All I know is that I'll never recomend Silverstone (case or other wise) to anyone looking to build a system. This just goes to show just how little they really care about the little guy out there.
Here's a pic of the cracked top.

Did you show them these pictures? I wouldn't give up, at least not yet, if you haven't showed them the pictures...:-? Though, they can always calim you tightened the fittings too tight, or a similar excuse...:frown:

Yup, all the photos have been forwarded to them, Silversone's quality control is really lacking on this product.
I even found screws just laying in the bottom of the unit that belonged to the front temp guage.
As for over tightening the barbs, the are pre-installed and are the G1/4" type with a "O" ring seal on the bottom and only need to be hand tight to make a perfect seal. But I will say that they both were over tightened from the factory, I had a hell of a time getting them off to take the pics.

So probably it's THEIR fault :jawdrop:
Did you get a reply already? (regarding the pics, I mean)

I haven't heard a thing back, and this was like a few weeks ago right after it happened.
Like I said above, I've replaced the video card (traded for a case) and got everything cleaned up and the system is now back in service by the wife.

At least everything is OK now and your wife can work on it again...;-)
