Excerpt: "With the release of Windows Vista it was expected that we would see a lot of products using Vista as a means to separate themselves from other products. ASUS has released four "Vista Edition" motherboards and we have tested the Premium Core2Duo motherboard to see in what the Vista-name actually means for the user. "

Ya, but this mobo has only 1 PCI-E x1 slot thus the upgrade path is quite slim. The rest of P5B boards all have three x1 ports.

-this MoBo has (2) PCI-E 16x slots, and regarding your memory specs, please add 1024 MHz capable Corsair memory bandwidth (not just 800)-the P5B Premium easily supports 1024, ...,

Memory DDR2 1024 /800 / 667 / 533

Nice review :) I would probably take the cynical approach to this vista marketing though, because as you pointed out, not a great deal was vista oriented and the things that were, didnt exactly make u drool over them.

And perhaps its natural support is for ddr2 800 but will support 1024 through overclocking
