8800 gts 320 mb

NCIX is currently having a sale and I have been saving up for a 8800 gts and I think this is perfect timing for me to buy one. Now I am looking for a 8800 around 400-450$ which means I kind of have to go with the 320 mb version.

On the sale, there are four 8800 gts 320 mb graphics card on sale. One of them is the BFG and the other three are XFX cards. Here are the links to them.

I was wondering which one people would recommend...I would prefer one of the cheaper two (1.6 ghz).

Also, I would like to know the difference of BFG and XFX warranties.

edit : If you guys know what comes with the graphics card (games, etc), please post that too.

If money is an issue just get the cheaper (http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=22631&vpn=PVT80GGHF9&manufacture=XFX&promoid=1020)one and overclock it.

As far as the warranties go, I think both are the same meaning a lifetime warranty but XFX has a double lifetime warranty. I think overclocking or any hardware modifications will void the warranty form both XFX and BFG.

I would consider the XFX model over BFG.

Frankly I would rather have a video card that comes with the bare essentials since including a game would increase the cards price.

What Werty said regarding XFX's double-lifetime warranty. And I'm sure BFG's tech support forum isn't as great as this one... ;)

I would agree with Werty, unless you want Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (It is bundled with the faster XFX card), then I would say buy the cheaper card and overclock it.

Different branded 8800GTS' are physically identical thus price and warranty are the only thing to pay attention to.

Yea go for the XFX, the BFG's mail in rebate expires soon, and i dont think if you send it in you will get it back in time.
