You need a power supply with atleast 300W and 15A on the 12V rail.
Alright I dont know how many watts my stock PSU has which is the one I'm using right now, but does the lil red sliding button on the back of it change anything? it says 115 right now....then 230 when I slide it

That is just the regulated voltage based on where you live out of your wall socket.
115V is North American.
230V is UK/Europe.
I think that is how it goes.

Loz don't even change that slider on the back of ur PSU.Keep it default. The company & model number of ur PSU should be written on ur PSU.Mostly these things r written on the side portion of ur PSU,that's inside ur cabinet.

I think they recommend a 300W PSU - the recommendations are made for standard PSUs I think, there's no power connector on X1600s.

Heh, I went to that PSU calculator site place, and did the whole deal and said 227w for what I'm running. So I plugged it in and bam it works off my reg. stock PSU. Sweeet....been running its for bout 14hrs now and nothing...no heating up at all..

Keep in mind the PSU calculator is only an estimation and its not the exact amount of wattage your system will use.
Its is good to use to give you an idea of how much wattage is required.
