Thanks for the link Werty.I hope this benchmark is real & not like their previous fake Crysis benchmark . What the hell with the Prey benchmark ? 7600 GT is better than the 8600GT ? :ahhhhh:

yeh that is interesting, Surely the 8600 would be superior. My brother plays prey on a 7600gt seems to run quite nicely, is it something to do with the dx10 support maybe, i dno lol haha..

Until now I have seen 4+ name variatys of the names and 10+ deferent specs about the new nVidia DX10 cards

I'm confused by the review's photos. I just bought a XFX Geforce 8600 GT Fatal1ty 256MB GDDR3 PCI Expr x16 and it has a large aluminum finned radiator and of course no fan. Perhaps the review was of a prototype before they added the radiator?

In any case, I just RMA'd it and got word from XFX that it was faulty.

It sure is nice and quiet. It displayed my 30" Dell beautifully w/Vista Ultimate and DirectX 10.
