I wouldn't consider buying that card.
Of course a GTX is the best you can get and adding watercooling to it is even better.
But you are better off hooking it up to your own watercooling solution and get a less priced card.
I mean the Sparkle card gave almost the same results then that Asus card.
Plus it takes SOOO much place its ridiculous.

Asus is claiming that this card is 11% faster than the generic GTX but yes, so much pricey than the others.Better use own cooling.Nice review btw.

Oh yah sorry Endre.
Very good review.
I think your score pretty much sums it up 7/10 is fair.

Yeah, I was switching between 6.5 or 7 back and forth. It is a fast card, there is no doubt about it and ASUS as always have a great bundle. Also a lot of people might want to try watercooling but do not want to start with a complete kit. In that case this card makes it easy.

But it is expensive, takes up lots of room and doesn't offer that much better performance.

TT Tide Water offers OK performance, but not worth the cash IMHO, I've got a Tide Water laying around here somewhere not being used. There's other solutions out there that perform on par or better than the extra they want for the card. By a good card by it's self and select a different cooling solution.

I guess a score of 7 quite matches the card, as you're actually getting what you paid for, but I still think this card is way too pricey.

Like Schwarz said, it will be better if one will buy a "regular" card, overclock it himself and then, if he's still interested, put his own watercooling for the card. ;-)

I never unsterstood why companies are trying to make a "special" card, that comes watercooled from the factory, especially when it makes the price of the card MUCH HIGHER.

And, in addition, I would never buy an ASUS Video Card (that's personally what I think ;-) ) as I personally don't like ASUS Customer Support.

Anyway, THANKS for enlightening our eyes with that card. :icon_tiphat:

I'm personally satisifed with my current Leadtek 8800GTX, though it gets quite warm as it idles at 65C and on load it reaches sometimes 80C! :jawdrop: (though I think I'm still safe with that range of temps...;-) )
