Excerpt: "Rainbow Six: Vegas is a game that has some history and gamers that loved the series may not like what it has become. It puts the focus on the action and is much faster than previous titles of the series. Having said that, if you install the game, keeping the above statement in mind, I am more than 100% positive you will enjoy every second of it. The game looks absolutely stunning, sound is like magic and it supplies huge amounts of pure, high quality action scenes."

Good review. Some nice in depth info.

I played this a little. I agree with the reviewers assessment. I didn't like it that much though. Overall I'd say it's a good game and anyone who's enjoyed Clancy games will love this one. But I have a low frustration level and if you have the kind of challenges that Tom Clancy games all seem to have, I really need quick save option. After getting near the end of a level and dying, or someone else dies, 3 or 4 times, I'm ready to put my foot through the screen.

Yeah, Tyron, I know what you're talking about.
But I really love that challenge and this game is not too hard to handle, as long as you stay off the "Realistic" mode...

But I agree, your frustration threshold should be higher than usual.
Especially with recent games that are more flowing and rapid...

Thanks for your comments.

Looks like a sick game, with clancy games though, im not the kind of guy that likes planning and like sneaking my way through, i like a bit of that. But im a CSS kind of guy, running through and pwning.

How would a 6800 Ultra Handle this game at 1280x1024? or STALKER

Depends on the settings you put for stalker.
I play around that res with a 7900GT KO (256MB) (1440x900)
and if you turn up the options its playable but it gets laggy as hell.
So I would guess that with a 6800 you would have to turn a few things down.
