AMD RV630 and RV610 to be delayed ??

" According to fuzilla, it is said tht the ATi RV630 and RV610 will be delayed due to large placements of OEM orders from partners DELL,HP, FSC etc.On top of that, delays might be due to problems increasing production levels of 65nm chipss at TSMC.

From what we understand, the official launch date is 14 May. Will we see products on the shelves ? We are not so pessimistic. We should see various brands showing off their products as early as May."

As annoying as any further delays would be, I think at this point if ATI paper-launches anything it would be even worse... I don't recall if it was rumor or fact anymore, but some story was that ATI was holding R600 just to tie it into a launch with RV630 and RV610. So if they delay those, then R600 might be pushed back yet again... :frown:

I really hope it was just a rumor because it has already been way to long they need to get something out, and get it out quick. My 4th card may end up Nvidia again if its delayed.
