Okay, a little while ago I was having all kinds of problems with my XFX 8800 GTX XXX Edition graphic card. I later found out that I actually had to underclock the card to get it to work. At first I started to change settings to 575(core)/900(memory). That solved my driver crashes and all other abnormal visuals. Later on, I got ballsy and started to investigate different settings, using ATITools. I have recently found that I can leave the stock speed for the core at 630mhz but if I go over 900mhz for the memory I get the old problems coming back at me.

I was wondering what is going on with that. I speculate that because I have Dell Ram @ 566mhz that maybe that's where the problem is but it is just speculation. Does anybody have a good idea as to what is going on here?

Your system RAM and your card's video RAM are separate animals. One's settings should not affect the other.

I would post about it in the tech support forum and see what can be done.

Yea like he said, system RAM dosent effect anything that has to do with your video card. You should RAM it or something or see what XFX has to say about it. Sounds like your card has some troubles.

So what exactly is you problem? Sorry but we can't help you if you don't give some details about the problem you are encounting.

One thing to do is try different drivers.
