Hi.
I have been owning a Asus Commando motherboard for 2 months.
Sadly I never though I would be the kind of person to be using a Dual GPU system but recently I just won the bjorn3d contest for 2 8800GTS 320MB.
Saldy I though that with modded drivers I could get my SLI working but to no avail... :(
Will trade my commando for any 680i motherboard !
Even the ECS PN2 SLI2+
So if anyone wants to get a Commando for cheaper then it costs get the cheapest 680i and trade it up with me :)
Contact me through PM.

Wish I had a board to trade but none are SLI capable. I still remember when the Commando was going for $400...

For ultra cheap, there's this one: Link (http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Description=ECS+570+SLIT-A+SLI&x=0&y=0)

For a cheap mainstream brand, there's this one: Link 2 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813127022)

Abit was going to send us an IN9 for review, but they dropped the ball on that one. The XFX 680i LT is only about $150 now...

Hey thanks Koug.
Well I guess my situation is resolved now though.
The shop where I bought my board at (3zcom) here in Quebec were nice enough to trade in my Commando for the striker extreme if I paid the difference.
So expect my SLI results soon.
And i'll even compare it to my buddie's ASUS 8800GTX.

yes, we gotta say that we have some great shop here in longueuil....
Ordisgros lent me a 7600GT from evga while they RMA my 6600 which stopped working for no apparent reason!!!
props to Janna, the owner for all the sweet service, not to mention all the deals she got me (never underestimate the power of cold hard cash!)

Wow, I'll have to have a look at that store too someday. Not many stores give that kind of customer service. Definitely better than Microbytes or Frostys
Ever been to Frostys?

I know frostys.
Close to the Indian territory right?

Yes, they have horrible service. I guess that's what you get when you pay no taxes.
