Hello
i am having trubles getting my on board Azalia sound card to work. my windows xp pro is refusing to recognise that a sound card is present but games seem to think there is a card present but will tell me to re configure my sound options.
iv installed my drivers that came with the Motherboard and dowloaded sound drivers of nvidea website but still no joy.
just wondering if iv missed something that is stairing me in the face, always seems to be the way...
thanks in advance

Make sure onboard audio is enabled in the BIOS.

Sometimes you need to install the Realtek drivers itself beside the nvidia ones.
The audio chip is from Realtek

Make sure onboard sound is enabled in BIOs like Scott suggested and download the newest HD audio drivers here:

lol im sorry but, the flesh ripper. that name cracked me up :) And if you cant find the bios on xfx page, then you can try softpedia, just google it. then type your mobo name into search and you should get bios update files there

I was wonder the samething, I found them for the EVGA version, but I haven't seen them for the XFX board on their site. And seeing as the bios versions are exactly the same between BFG and EVGA, I would think that they are the same for XFX as well. EVGA's bios update is for better Quadcore support as well as 1333 CPU's.

We will be setting up any bios updates on our website in the very near future. Also were you not able to find the audio drivers on the driver cd?
