Newegg mostly, at least for the standard computer components. You do need to watch the prices as they change up and down all the time. If you don't like the price of a item, check back in a day or 2, it will be different.

A good example is my MoBo, in the past month it's been anywhere from $109 up to $130, just depends on their mood I guess.

When I was getting ready to order parts (I had a shopping cart full of components changing everyday for a month and a half before I finally came up with what I wanted), the case jumped up $30 or 40. Not the end of the world, but I was pissed. Called newegg customer service, and they offered to give me a discount on the order. Definitely watch for changing prices.

I don't think this is the case. Sometimes they are bit higher than others, but from what I've seen, on most items they are among the cheapest...

Maybe I'm wrong, but at least for me, that's the case, as I'm currently in Israel, so almost everything is cheaper there than in Israel.

And the best thing is, that they have a lof of different brands, mostly in stock...;-)

Well, it is just how most websites work. They use automated pricing mostly without direct end user intervention. It will adjust prices on the fly for stock, increased or lax demand, and I've read it will even take into account how many people have said item on a wishlist (to give discount incentives) and shopping carts (to raise prices). Some say ZZF and Newegg even take into acount browsing history, if one product page is really popular they might tweak prices.

Because of all that they walk a very fine line, but their software will frequently spike the prices upwards at surges in demand, and even more so if their stock begins to run low. $1,600 QX6700's anyone? ;) It is all a matter of bidding your time and being the first to catch lowered prices... once people notice they finally buy, and that drives the price back up again.

I do all my first research on NewEgg (For reviews and pics) but i always check around a bit. I will only deal with sites that i know have good customer support even it have to pay a bit more. just in case things go bad. Just to reinforce what others have said when dealing with new egg just keep an eye on things. If you see the price jump up give it a few days to a week and it will be back down once the high price scares everyone off and stock levels come back up.

I also subscribe to a few catagories on here (http://dealnews.com/mydealnews/alerts/) it helps some times
