This review compares the 2900xt to something you refer to as the "asus 8800GTS".

However, asus, as probably all other video card manufacturers, makes two types of 8800 GTS's, the 320 meg version and the 640 Meg version. Your review entirely failed to mention which version you tested. This is information which everyone would want to know.

Nice find man.Yes, this info is missing.Thanks for pointing that.I hope that will be rectified.

My guess is it was the 640mb version.

Yeah, sorry about that. I've always just have had the 640 MB version (even before the 320 MB version ven was announced) so I completely forgot to specify it. So everything in this review (and the HD2000 article) is done with the Asus 8800GTS 640 MB.
