Why it is so hard to get bios update? Other companies like Evga and Bfg already release newest bios (P28) which improves many things. I registered my board on xfx site and created support ticket and after 3 days, the answer was 'why do you need bios update?'
I am doing business with Intel for over 15 years and I never got such an answer.
It looks to me that it was a mistake to buy main board from xfx.
Back to the Intel, best support.

The bios is posted on the www.xfxforce.com website. There are two as one if for motherboards with an Nvidia based bios (earlier versions)

ftp://www.xfxsupport.com/public/BIOS/680iNp28.zip

And then one for an XFX based bios:

ftp://www.xfxsupport.com/public/BIOS/680iXp28.zip

You can tell the difference when your system is booting in the bottom left corner you will see it say either XFX or Nforce. Plus if you download the incorrect bios it will not work or damage your system, you will just get an incompatibility message so no worries there.

You have to use a floppy to update bios this way. Doesn't XFX have something better than this?

There should also be ISO files for flashing via CD, I'll check to see if I can find them floating around.

They have the new versions up along with a winflash utility so you don't have to use a floppy anymore........;)

If your having issues and live in North or South America I can look into that, however there really isnt much of a difference other then the loading screen due to bios version.
