I see newegg are selling a new revision of the XFX 680i mobo, the A+ revision http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813141003i. Has anyone got any idea how the A+ revision differs from the first revision. I wonder has it got anything to do with Quad Core overclocking ala the first EVGA 680i mobo. Anyone got any information.

It can be a little confusing and I apologize for that. Technically we only have one revision and it was named A+ which is the latest revision of the 680i Mobo. I am not sure but think the plan was to name this revision A+ and then we change the revisions accordingly.

Looks like I was right, here is a quote from the review of the XFX680i SLI Motherboard on Bjorn3D:
"Oh and lest we forget to mention that the current A+ model released by XFX has all the quad enhancements that were present on the A1 model recently released by EVGA."
AT least Evga were up front about their different revisions and indeed allowed customers to exchange first revision boards(AR) for the newer revision(A1) board that addressed the quad core overclocking issues. Getting any information from XFX regarding this was like pulling teeth and they never actually admitted(to me anyway despite numerous e-mails) that their A+ model address any issues(quad core related or otherwise) on the first revision.
