Animated Avatars

Hey just curious I have a nice GIF animation here I want to upload as my Avatar but it wont animate. Any idea how to fix this?

I've used that GIF on other forums in the past. ;-) As a matter of fact, my current avatar is an animated GIF as well. The eyes are supposed to flicker on and off and used to work when this was a phpBB forum.

I'm betting that there is something in the forum code that is either pulling the first image out during the upload or when it is pulled for display.

Since avatar are restricted to 80x80 pixels you had to resize the avatar and doing so does it still animate?

I haven't touched mine in ages, so I'm not sure why mine no longer works. But, after seeing yours, ;-) , I suspect I am the one that broke it...DOH!

Ahh ok 80x80, ill have to try fix that somehow. I just uploaded it cause it was small enough file size then it must have resized itself
