Ok, hopefully someone can help me as I'm am out of ideas. I'm trying to overclock it just to see what I can get out of it, but I can't. I try using coolbits and when I click on test it just resets it back to stock settings. I've tried Rivatuner and when I hit test it says it failed. Even if i leave it at stock settings the test still fails. I tried upping the PCI-e frequency, but that didn't help. I don't have any issues of crashing with the card...any ideas? :frown:

I use ATItool for my 7900gt. I find its pretty easy to use. First i just made 2 new profiles, one for my known stable values and the other for values I still want to test.

All i do then is move the 3d performance sliders around. I start with core clock speed until i artifact (usually just test for artifacts for 5 mins on the inbuilt test) Then when i find max core that way I do the same with the mem clock.

Unfortunatly the find max core and find max mem buttons dont stop once its found an artifact, it just keeps increasing the clock until computer reboots :(

What version of ATiTool do you use? The one I tried just crashes on me, it is .27 b1.
