So Saturday at work I get a voicemail from my mom saying she can't pick me up because here car has no wheels now. Some retards in the middle of the night I guess came and jacked the car up and got all four wheels. (pics below). My question is to prevent this type of thing in the future I want to install a tilt sensor in the car so when the car is parked and is tilted the alarm system will go off. Now my question is it possible to wire the tilt sensor to lets say the door handle sensor (the one when the car is armed and the door handle is lifted the alarm will go off) wire that censor in parallel with the tilt censor? Second question is where would I be able to get a tilt censor I'm not talking about a electrolyte filled one but something that will actually not go off when the car is parked on a hill but go off when the car experiences any deviation from its previous vertical position.

Wow that sucks big time; if I may ask, what maker is that car?

I am guessing her car didn't have tire lock bolts? Why not just get a motion sensing car alarm?

DEI (Directed Electronics Inc) (http://www.directed.com/) have some great car alarms that are well known.

EDIT: I found this tilt sensor: http://www.cartoys.com/Default.cfm/p/Clifford_Tilt_Sensor/

The car is a 2001 Integra.

I would love to see the expression on their faces if they tried that with a tilt sensor installed

Most of those types (car parts Theives) are so fast that they could care less if theres a alarm on it or not. They just snatch and run without regard to damaging the car. Alarms only keep the honest people honest.

That is such a sad view, I hope those bastards get caught and get sent to gay prison where they'll at least be useful.

They were smart enough to leave the police their tools and finger prints:lol:

Wow, that is some low stuff that happened to you... I hope that that they left behind more than their tools so they can be caught and processed.

Did the car have keyed lugs? If not, invest in a set. Makes it much harder to pull the wheel when you can't get all of the lugs off.

Wheel locks are a must on any 3rd gen Integra as well as 5th gen and above Civics. Like others have said, theives don't care about an alarm going off because they are fast enough that it doesn't even matter.

Were they stock wheels or aftermarket?

They were stock wheels and rims.

Install one of those anti-theft lug nuts.

I would personally rig the wheels to explode with dynamite when they get disconnected. That's just me, though.
