I have already posted my hardware problem in the ever-growing thread about the 7900GT artifact problem and cannot help but notice the different, nay, almost preferential treatment, handed out to our American cousins by tech support.
As Brits, we are plagued by gear which costs twice as much to buy as you chaps pay, and when it goes wrong we have a constant battle with UK tech support teams to actually convince them that we are not drooling idiots, lying about their product having a problem.
It is 16 days since I opened a ticket with the XFX UK support and 9 days since I last had a response. I see that you also get a lifetime warranty.
Don't get me wrong, I think that the consumer protection offered in America is excellent. I'd just like to see a little of it on this side of the pond :frown:
I haven't rated the XFX tech support ticket yet because you have to click on at least one star to do so. Jury still out there.
