I think instead of getting one of these it would be wiser to get the XXX edidition becasue of the double lifetime warranty.

Very nice review.

I would have liked to see this card compare against a 7950GT with the same amount of RAM (256MB). Would the results have been that much different?

Also, it would have been better to have the temperature comparison between the two cards on the same graph or another graph IMO.

All in all, I might just go with what's cheaper.

Hey yea thats a good idea. Can you get a chart up there with a 7950GT 512 and 256 comparison against the Fat card? (Preferably XFX cards hehe)

Nice review and card. I would be interested like others to see how it stacks up to the 7950GT with the same amount of ram. I'd imagine the 7950 would have more raw power than the 8600 but the 8600 has more bells and whistles.

My guess is that the RAM won't make much of a difference. Though this is just my guess after seeing the difference between the 8800GTS 640MB and 320MB versions.
